About Us Rockin K Ranch dedicates itself to provide horses and their humans a safe and relaxed environment to enjoy their time together. My name is Heidi Kohl, I started my life long passion for horses as a little girl. I was blessed to marry my college sweetheart, Jack, who is very supportive of my passion for horses and enjoys riding as well! Jack and I raised our two sons on our farm where they enjoyed their ponies and horses in many hours of adventures.
I have personally "played" with horses in many different disciplines. Everything from trail riding, pleasure driving, barrel racing, hunters-jumpers, and dressage. I currently show dressage and have earned my USDF Bronze and Silver Medals on a horse that I have trained up the levels with the guidance of my mentors, George Williams and Janet Foy. What a fun journey it has been! My love and passion for horses has inspired me to build this business which began over 37 years ago on a small farm in North Carolina to our current Rockin K Ranch situated in northeast Ohio on 200 acres with two indoor arenas. One arena is 100' x 220' and the other is 80' x 220' and heated. Our outdoor arena is 200' x 300' There are also miles of trails to enjoy meandering around the farm. We have 30 stalls in the main barn and 9 stalls in the training barn. There is also a retirement barn that allows horses the luxury of being a horse as there are retired from discipline. |
